I never put much thought into the future of the DVD Forum, although I assume a name change may be in their future!
I never thought of the piracy argument, maybe a lower price point can have the same effect it had in North America, Europe, etc when it cames to music downloads and convinence? It certainly won't stop them all, but any small group that converts is definitely a win.
Halo 3: ODST will be a day 1 buy for me, all these previews and stuff that came out today only reaffirm this. Could have done with 720p for those splitscreen sessions but that still won't stop my enjoyment.
From the preview it seems like there may be a few "inside" moments which require previous knowledge of the Halo universe to fully understand.
I liked Halo Wars, although I do agree with you Elven, it did miss a few vital RTS components that could have it made it a outstanding RTS title. That being said it's still a great game.
After HD DVD I think both Toshiba and the DVD Forum deserve a break, it was great technology but the market wanted something else. With some improvements it seems the Chinese market has really likened to it.

HipHop, with all do respect, I would be inclined to watch your show if the titles weren't so provocative. I've watched your shows before and they did nothing to justify the headlines. Very few people here have a problem with you or your show, just your headlines.
